Not even five minutes go by as we’re detouring through the the trees and bushes when we hear a man from the distance. Both of us new, this was an indicator telling us our luck was running out. UGH! When you go a long stretch of time without issues, and out of the blue you run into obscure problems back to back, it’s just a matter of time before something bad happens. It was in that moment that we made the decision that we’d pack up and go right as soon as sun rose the following day.
Spiffy took the lead as we approached camp. What was that?! Sweets heard a voice yet again. So what did I do? I frantically ran through the shrubs; losing my sandal along the way, giving me no choice but to retrace my footsteps, in which I tried doing so as quickly as I possibly could; only to play catch up back to camp once I retrieved it. I probably zipped up the tent quicker than I ever did before. We remained silent, huddling up in the tent together.
This evening was nonetheless terrifying and scary.
To top everything off, while lying there inside our sleeping bags exhausted as anything, a gofer did not allow us to rest just yet. I guess He wanted to keep things festive by crawling around underneath us, creating a ton of ruckus.
Very tense! Which woods?

This is why I don’t go camping. I never was a happy camper. 😀

Haha, well after reading this post, I don’t blame you. When you go camping like a vacation at a campsite it’s a whole different experience because you have the choice to choose one where many other fellow campers are.
