Time of Sadness

We would like to take a moment in this time of sadness and pray for those concert goers that were caught in the horrific vegas shooting that took place just last night as well as pray for the family and friends that lost their loved ones. Our heart breaks and goes out to all of them. Devistating is the only way to describe this. It was the first thing I opened my eyes up to when I grabbed my phone to look at emails. My heart ached and tears streamed down my face as I watched and read the news. Spiffy woke up shortly after me when I told him the news in which his eyes practically bulged out of his eye sockets in utter shock. Our condolences go out to everyone who has been struck by this awful event and pray that those who are critically injured in the hospital make it. I can’t wrap my mind around understanding how someone can do such a thing. This is a time to be grateful and blessed for the lives we have, for many have lost their lives way too soon, and a time to come together as a community and show our sincere support for one another. My sister and brother in-law happened to be on vacation right down the street on the same strip not far from the concert when this all happened. I am so very thankful they are back home safe but cannot stop thinking of the tragedy many are having to endure. We will keep you all in our prayers. God bless.

    1. There’s truth to what you say. Those who lost their lives and those who directly lost loved ones are in the public eye and each year for them is a constant reminder of what happened.
